ASN provides letters, comments, testimony and statements on scientific and regulatory issues which affect nutrition research. ASN commentary is based on the input of member experts from academia, industry, and government, including members of the Public Policy Committee. ASN also keeps members up-to-date on opportunities to provide public comment.

ASN is committed to keeping members informed of timely updates on relevant congressional and regulatory activities impacting nutrition research, as well as directing members to research opportunities and facilitating the nomination of qualified ASN members to serve on federal advisory committees.

Our Public Policy Update is distributed via email to all ASN members twice a month; first, as part of the monthly member e-newsletter.
