I'm not a fan of Dean Ornish and his ultra low fat diet. What do you guys think of the paleo diet?

The paleo diet requires a lot of changes on a daily level- the elimination of dairy is hard for many people, both financially and menu-wise.

From what I understand, the paleo diet doesn't take a hard line against dairy. Sure, it's a neolithic food, but some people have adapted to eat it and don't have any problems. The primal diet people (e.g. Mark Sisson) suggest that dairy can be ok. But it comes down to the individual!
