Organized by the ASN Medical Nutrition Council (MNC), this conference is the result of many hours of hard work by ASN staff and the planning committee. Recently we spoke with one of the members of the planning committee, Robert F. Kushner, MD, Professor of Medicine at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine.

Very excited to attend this conference in June! Last year's was excellent.
I'm sure the Advances and Controversies in Clinical Nutrition will be a great conference. Good nutrition can be summed up by adhering to a strict diet of single-ingredient whole foods whenever possible. This should be the focus of any discussion about nutrition.
I'm about to check out the interview with Dr. Kushner. I think that what we are currently discovering about nutrition is quite amazing.
I agree with Dr. Kushner's enthusiasm about the keynote lecture from Dr. Dean Ornish; in light of the recent controversies surrounding omega-3s and cardiovascular health, his commentary will no doubt be provocative!
The keynote lecture was very uplifting in terms of all the controversy about the omega 3s and cardio health. Kimberly Fujioka
