The ASN Strategic Map serves as a tool for guiding the activities of our society for 2012-2016. The oval (Position ASN as an Authoritative Leader in Nutrition through Science) represents the central challenge that ASN faces, and will focus on, over the next four years. It is supported by four strategic priorities that define the key goals ASN must meet to reach its main challenge. The boxes under each strategic priority are objectives to accomplish in order to achieve the strategic priority. At the bottom are two cross-cutting priorities.
